We met Cassandre, the founder of The Good Habits , the application to become more eco-responsible on a daily basis. We wanted to know more about the creation of the project and its values, discover its answers through this article!
How was The Good Habits born?
1 year ago, I wanted to return to more simplicity in my life. So I started adopting more sustainable habits . I did it above all for my well-being and for my wallet.
It even took me time to link my approach to eco-responsibility , which for me was rather synonymous with dry toilets and cold water showers…! 😬
Above all, I didn't want this pressure of urgency and guilt that we are constantly served! And that's when I realized that I was far from alone in this case: many of us want to take the path of eco-responsibility, but not at any price, and not only for the planet. We all have our own engines to change, and you know what? It is very good !
So I worked hard to create an application dedicated to those who want to evolve, while having fun. After more than a year of work, I founded The Good Habits to allow each person to be inspired and share daily the small eco-responsible habits which, put together, will make all the difference.
What are the values of the project?
Pleasure
Adopting eco-responsible habits should make you want to, not depress you! It is for this reason that we place passion and enthusiasm at the heart of everyday life.
Kindness
We inspire, we guide, but we don't feel guilty. We are human, and we are entitled to deviations. Stop the "What are you green and you have a crepe with Nutella? »
Aesthetics
We strive to provide a fair, useful and beautiful experience.
Humility
We are aware that we are not perfect, but that we try to improve ourselves every day.
If you had to describe The Good Habits in 1 sentence?
The Good Habits, a community application for inspiring and sharing eco-responsible habits for those who want to take pleasure in consuming less and better. A bit like an eco-responsibility Pinterest!
How do you want the project to evolve?
I would like The Good Habits to become the reference platform for becoming eco-responsible , and allow 10,000 people within 1 year to adopt at least one eco-responsible habit of more than 100 kg CO2e per year in their daily lives.
How did you manage to unite around your project and create the community you have today?
I communicate a lot about the project and about my career as an entrepreneur: the successes, but also the difficulties. What pleases is above all this new approach to eco-responsibility : more benevolent and positive. Many people are not yet ready to change overnight and are not at the same stage in their transition as other more committed people. I am aware of this and I try, with The Good Habits, to show them that another path is possible: step by step and at their own pace.
What are you most proud of on this project?
I am proud to have managed in less than a year to make more than 3000 people want to change their habits to move towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
A final word
Join The Good Habits community! More than 300 eco-responsible habits are already shared by the community: recipes, DIY, advice... and in all areas of daily life (hygiene, fashion, home maintenance, mobility...).
